INTRODUCTION

The Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC) has been set up under the aegis of the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration for implementing the various plans of the Administration to promote the IT industry in Chandigarh. The Chairperson of the Society is the Adviser to the Administrator.

OBJECTIVES

1. To promote application of Information Technology in the Union Territory of Chandigarh in accordance with the IT Policy of Chandigarh Administration.
2. To carry out all such activities that are commensurate with the IT vision of the Chandigarh Administration as outlined in IT Policy.
3. To promote e-Governance, Software Exports, create IT Infrastructure, generate jobs in IT as outlined in the IT Mission of the Chandigarh Administration.
4. To facilitate the establishment and functioning of data processing computer centres.

IFFCO requires Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) for its existing establishments / subsidiaries / Joint Ventures and future projects anywhere in India or abroad:- 

Qualification :- 

Four years Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from recognized university / Institute in the disciplines Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil. Instrumentation & Electronics. 

Note : 
1. All the above qualifications should be from the University / Institute recognized by UGC / AICTE. 

2. General /OBC candidates having minimum aggregate of 60% marks in all semesters and 55% in case of SC/ST are eligible to apply.

3. Candidates who have passed / passing their degree prior to 2009 and not later than 2011 need not apply. 

4. The candidates who have training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attainment of the above qualification shall be rejected. 

Upper age limit :- 30 Years as on 1st January, 2012 .

Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for OBC category not belonging to creamy layer.

Training Period :- The duration of training will be one year. 

Compensation

(a) During training, stipend and other benefits will be paid as per the Rules of IFFCO/ its subsidiaries/JVs.

(b) On successful completion of one year training and subject to our manpower requirement, candidates may be appointed in suitable regular pay scales as per the Rules of IFFCO/ its subsidiaries/ JVs. 

(c) The Trainees at the time of joining will have to furnish a bond, if applicable, as per the rules.

Selection Procedure

Short listed candidates will be required to appear for Preliminary Online test in open environment. i.e they will use their own resource. Those who qualify this test will be required to appear for the Final Online Test in controlled environment i.e at the pre determined venues. Only those candidates who qualify the Final Online test will be called for personal interview.
